Sani Farms is a socially-driven enterprise founded and run by Swazis, for Swazis. Our mission is to improve the holistic well-being of rural communities through organic agricultural education, economic empowerment, and promoting community interconnection.
Sani Farms’ main objective is to demonstrate and teach a sustainable approach to farming that is environmentally friendly, cost-effective, and resource efficient. To support this focus on taking care of the earth and each other, we also promote the use of renewable energy and recycling activities.
Our demonstration farm is located in the village of Bhunya, in northwestern Swaziland (eSwatini). Here, we produce vegetables, egg-laying chickens, and compost using organic methods, free of chemical pesticides or fertilizers. We also raise pigs and rabbits using the same organic methods. Sani Farms also serves as an educational center where all are welcome to observe our processes, and learn how to do them for themselves.
We are also committed to building up our community. Sani Farms invests a percentage of its profits into helping support local farmers with obtaining farming materials, and subsidized educational courses.
We work for a better community, country, and world. Watch us as we grow!
